Empowering Faith: Using Scripture to Overcome Life's Battles

There was a woman telling her friend that every night a demon shows up at the foot of her bed. Despite telling it to be gone, the demon kept coming back. Her friend advised her to use scripture to battle the demon. She suggested using the scripture from Luke 10:19, "God has given me the power over snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the powers of the enemy. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."

The woman used the scripture the next night, and the demon was gone for good. This story highlights the power of God's word to fight our battles. We need to know the scripture and not be afraid to use it. When I face fear or doubt, I remind myself of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me."

Today, I encourage you to find scriptures to battle the demons in your life. God's word is a gift, and knowing how to use it can lift the weight off your shoulders. Whether in your personal life, marriage, family, or even with strangers, shining God's light can make a true difference.

Remember, we don't hide a lamp under a bed; we put it on a lamp stand for others to see. Shine for God and be guided by His light. Jesus took on the wrath of God for our sins, making it possible for us to overcome our struggles.
